Crossfire: Indien-Pakistan Spar över riktade attacker

India and Pakistan trade barbs over targeted killings

Recent targeted killings in the border region between India and Pakistan have raised tensions between the two countries. Both sides have accused each other of supporting militant groups responsible for the attacks.

India has blamed Pakistan for failing to take action against terrorist organizations operating on its soil, while Pakistan has denied these accusations and instead accused India of violating human rights in the disputed region of Kashmir.

The international community has called for both countries to exercise restraint and engage in diplomatic dialogue to address the root causes of violence in the region.
